Data Center
Operating System.

One modular platform and one operating discipline — unifying operations, engineering, critical infrastructure, security, DCIM, and operational metrics into a single pane of glass.

DCOS

The operating system underneath every CR Technology engagement.

DCOS is what we run on, and increasingly what our clients run on. It is two things at once: a software platform and an operating discipline. Most of what makes a data center perform — or quietly stall — comes down to whether telemetry, tickets, and decisions live in one place. DCOS is that place.

What follows is the full component map: the dashboard, the modules, the marketplace, the AI-enhanced decisioning layer, and the application-aware operating model that ties them together.

DCOS · Data Center Operating System

One operating system.
Every discipline.

A modular platform and an operating discipline in equal measure — integrating operations, engineering, critical infrastructure, security, DCIM, and performance metrics into a single unified pane of glass. Built to move asset value: lower cost of running, capital aimed where it earns, and tenant outcomes that compound.

Outcomes

Asset performance, compounded.

DCOS aligns every signal — telemetry, tickets, decisions — to the outcomes that move asset value, not just keep the lights on. The modules, the dashboard, the methodology all serve that single end.

Lower cost of running

Fewer surprises, cleaner change windows, and less cost absorbed by escalation, overtime, and rework.

Capital aimed where it earns

Investment decisions informed by live telemetry and capacity truth — not assumption or last quarter's spreadsheet.

Decisions that lift the top line

Faster throughput, premium-density wins, and tenants who stay, expand, and refer.

The operating difference

We run the applications running in the building.

Most operators run the facility and let tenants worry about their workloads. Our DCTs and CIEs are trained on the applications themselves — which are latency-sensitive, which are recoverable, which tolerate brownouts, and which cannot. When something shifts at the physical layer, our team knows exactly what it means at the application layer.

01

Workload fluency

Every operator is trained on the applications they're keeping running — criticality, sensitivity, and tolerance — not just the boxes under them.

02

Skill-mapped teams

DCT and CIE specialties mapped to each workload and domain, so the person responding to a signal actually knows what to do with it.

03

Data-driven staffing

DCOS deploys the right resource, in the right area, at the right time — based on live load, event patterns, and skill coverage, not a static rotation.

Modules

Six disciplines, one operating surface.

01

NOC / SOC

24×7 monitoring, alerting, and escalation — every signal routed to the right hands.

02

Engineering

Ticketed execution, change management, and maintenance orchestration in one flow.

03

Critical Infrastructure

Power, cooling, and mechanical health telemetry stitched into a single live view.

04

Security

Physical access, logical controls, and compliance evidence under one framework.

05

DCIM

Assets, capacity, and environmental data unified with operations context.

06

Operational Metrics

Density, capacity, and efficiency reported at the cadence stakeholders expect.

Marketplace

A composable marketplace — for the systems you already run.

DCOS ships an extensible marketplace of connectors. Rather than rip-and-replace, your existing BAS, DCIM, SIEM, ITSM, and specialty tools fold into a single operating plane — curated, governed, and upgraded alongside the platform itself.

AI-enhanced decisioning

From reactive to anticipatory.

DCOS applies AI across capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, and runbook orchestration. Daily decisions get faster, risk surfaces shrink, and efficiency compounds week over week — without losing the human judgment that matters most.

  • Probabilistic where it helps

The platform

Software built for operators.

A modular pane of glass assembling telemetry, tickets, and decisioning from across your facility — extensible via APIs, composable per site.

The discipline

A methodology, not just a tool.

DCOS codifies how we operate — runbooks, escalation paths, and review cadences that hold whether the software is there or not.
